Hi, my name is Mark Wheeler. I own first Stop Security Store and that statement above is, of course, my opinion. But it is an educated opinion I feel, based on a working knowledge of just about all of the major wireless security alarm systems on the market today.

For those of you who don't know, First Stop Security also installs and services residential and commercial alarm systems here in the northeast. In fact I have been installing burglar and fire alarm systems, video surveillance systems, and access control systems since 1995, and I can tell you first hand, the Alexor system is truly an amazing professional grade security system that the "Do It Yourself-er" will be able to install and use easily.

What makes the Alexor Security Suite so easy to work with is it's true 2 way wireless capability so not only are all alarm initiating devices wireless but all devices are wireless! Keypads, a two way remote key-fob which allows you to see the current status of your system, and even a remote indoor or outdoor wireless siren! You can mount the panel anywhere within approximately 900 feet of the furthest device. We recommend mounting the panel closest to the power and communications source, whether telephone line or Network. This will minimize the length of the only two wire runs that have to be made to install the Alexor. And if you are using DSC Cellular as your primary communication source then not only will you have a dependable line of communication that can't be cut (like a phone line), but you will only have one hardwire connection to make- just power to the panel!

If you are comfortable using a screwdriver or a screw gun and can make two hardwired connections; 1) connect the panel to the included transformer and plug it in and 2) make the connection to your phone line and or Network (unless you are using only cellular), then you can install the Alexor security system! We can provide the wire and everything else that you will need for a seamless installation when you order one of our pre-programmed packages.
